Agent Green is a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental protection. Their very brave team asked us for help to collect donations to protect virgin forests in Romania.
Romania's forests represent two thirds of the total virgin forests in Europe. Unfortunately, they are at risk from illegal exploitation.
Our action took place in Brașov, a beautiful mountain town. We knew we had to get the attention of as many people as possible and make them aware that any donation could contribute to a green and clean future.
We chose to convey our message in a special way during the Aural festival. An art event that escaped the museums and brought art to the streets, having a post-modern form of manifestation and a lot of public. We created a scene to attract attention and make people aware that any tree that is cut down illegally is a victim of a crime
The installations mounted on the trees in Brașov were noticed immediately. A little too noticeable, we'd say, because someone concerned about the fate of the trees notified the police. Due to the realism of the production, people believed that someone had actually started to destroy the trees. Of course, things were quickly clarified and the project continued throughout the festival.
Viewers were informed about the situation of Romania's virgin forests and were taught how they can get involved in saving them. Thus Agent Green gained visibility for the brand and actions and traffic on the website.
